FSSP Summer Bridge Pathway

Begin to immerse yourself in collegiate life at UC Irvine by applying to FSSP Summer Bridge Pathway! This is a 6-week residential program where you take courses that prepare you for the academic rigor of being a college student, and simultaneously gain credit towards your degree. In addition to meeting other students who may come from backgrounds like your own and forging those friendships, you will have the opportunity to connect with UCI staff/faculty, receive personal guidance, participate in community-building events, and discover what the summer in the OC has to offer!

Important Dates

The program will take place from July 31st, 2025 – September 11, 2025
    • July 31, 2025: All FSSP Pathways Housing Move-In
    • August 1 – 2, 2025: SPOP 6 (REQUIRED)
    • August 3, 2025: FSSP Program Welcome
    • August 4 – September 10, 2025: Summer Session II
    • September 11, 2025: All FSSP Pathways Housing Move-Out

Summer Bridge Cost and Funding

The Summer Bridge Scholarship will be awarded to students based upon a comprehensive review process.

Students who are interested in the Summer Bridge scholarship pathway MUST complete their 2025-2026 financial aid applications (FAFSA/CA Dream Act). Failure to complete, will result in automatic ineligibility to be considered for the scholarship.
